The exhibition translates into a collection of significant images and experimental prototypes of the strength of stone to build a path to accompany university research: from the Italian historical tradition to the most advanced technologies of the digital revolution. We are convinced that this is the most exciting aspect of research for the near future; study to be nurtured and promoted (both in Italy and abroad) starting from the continuous collaboration between experimental explorations and new forms of production. The idea is to tell the variety and richness of a widespread lithic landscape, starting from a sort of “journey into the Italy of stones,” capable of telling the territories of the quarries, the stratifications of urban landscapes, and research experiments scientific studies in the various Italian and foreign schools of architecture.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
