The port operates 10 of the largest shipping lines that provide integrated services to exporters and importers, distinguished by its strategic location on the Red Sea coast, which is one of the most important international maritime trade routes.

The port has now been classified as one of the fastest growing container ports, and within the list of the 100 largest ports in the world, less than four years after the start of its operations.

In addition, the King Abdullah Port has also received 28 Liebherr cranes as part of its container terminals expansion project, and has also confirmed that its 18m berths are among the deepest in the world.

According to the state-run Saudi Press Agency, the port has developed the latest operational technologies, including the smart gates system, and the port management system, which is an electronic platform that gathers stakeholders according to their needs to implement or view various operations.
