Ρεκόρ σημειώθηκε στις εξαγωγές γρανιτών και κεραμικών της Ιταλίας το 2021, τόσο στην αξία όσο και την ποσότητα. Οι εξαγωγές μαρμάρου, όσον αφορά την αξία, άγγιξαν τα προ πανδημίας επίπεδα, ενώ η ποσότητα είναι η χαμηλότερη των τελευταίων πέντε ετών.
Ωστόσο, οι εξαγωγές μαρμάρου σημείωσαν μεγαλύτερη αύξηση σε σχέση με τους γρανίτες και τα κεραμικά. Στον πίνακα που ακολουθεί φαίνονται οι μεταβολές (%) στην αξία και την ποσότητα των εξαγωγών μεταξύ 2020 και 2021:
Η άνοδος των εξαγωγών μαρμάρου οφείλεται κυρίως στην αύξηση των εξαγωγών προς την Κίνα, την Ινδία, τις Η.Π.Α. Όσον αφορά τον γρανίτη, η άνοδος οφείλεται στις εξαγωγές προς τη Γερμανία, την Ελβετία, την Αυστρία και τη Γαλλία. Στα κεραμικά η άνοδος οφείλεται κυρίως στην αύξηση των εξαγωγών προς τις Η.Π.Α. αλλά κυρίως προς τις χώρες μέλη της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης Γαλλία, Γερμανία, Βέλγιο, Ολλανδία.
