In 2025, the company began installing a new automatic cutting semi-line, complete with a processing robot.

Last year, Spanish machinery manufacturer Nodosafer announced the launch of its N.8000/900 semi-automatic cutting line, specifically designed for working with thicker materials. French firm Tarn Voirie has opted for this technology, which is already operating at its facilities.

The N.8000/900 model stands out for its capacity to incorporate 5 to 6 cutting heads of up to 900 mm, allowing cutting on pieces up to 30 cm thick. Thanks to Nodosafer’s patented design, the cutting heads can be positioned with a minimum distance of 25 cm between discs, optimizing production with exceptional precision and efficiency.

One of the most innovative aspects of this line is the automation of the process, which requires minimal operator intervention. From the infeed table to the outfeed table, all movements are perfectly synchronized, ensuring a continuous workflow and optimized cutting times.

Versatility and Customized Finishes

The semi-line not only allows longitudinal and cross cuts thanks to its rotary table, but also facilitates the production of more complex parts. With the integration of a processing-palletizing robot, customized finishes such as inclined cuts, bevels, roundings, and flames can be added.

To complete the process, material discharge is adapted to the customer’s needs. Whether through a daisy-chain discharge system with four palletizing stations or a 9-meter linear track, the flexibility in handling the finished product is another of the great advantages of this technology.

Sustainability and Workplace Safety

In addition to its ability to increase productivity, the semi-line’s design prioritizes stability and safety throughout the entire process. The robustly constructed infeed, cutting, and outfeed tables can safely withstand heavy workloads. Furthermore, the waste generated is automatically removed using debris conveyors, contributing to a cleaner and more efficient working environment.

With this installation in Tarn Voirie, Nodosafer opens the door to new possibilities in material processing, offering advanced technological solutions for cutting thick materials.

Likewise, N6870/72 multi-wire units have been commissioned both in Portugal, at Real Granitos, Lda, and in Taiwan, at NEW OU SHENK. In its continued commitment to marble, the company continues to establish installations in France at Guinet Derriaz, in Turkey at CTM Marble, and in Portugal at Grupo Galrao.
