Piaggio and Alfa Romeo choose Carrara marble quarries to promote their products. Bulgari, Audi, Lamborghini, and Belen Rodriguez have also chosen the quarries to launch their products. Film directors from all over the world have been fascinated by the quarries to shoot films.

After the car manufacturer Alfa Romeo, Piaggio also chose the location of the Carrara marble quarries to promote the Piaggio Beverly and Piaggio MP3. The ad for the new three and two-wheeled models was filmed in a classic white marble bank.

Piaggio’s spot advertises the new three-wheeler (MP3 300), an agile and compact model with LED lighting and a system for better management of navigation, calls, messaging and music, and the new Beverly scooter, which thanks to several new features for Piaggio is the “solution for a satisfying ride even on weekends out of town”.

Alfa Romeo and Piaggio are not the only ones to have chosen the Carrara marble quarries to promote a product. Before them, Bulgari had done so for the ‘Splendida’ fragrance, the car manufacturer Audi for the Q8, Lamborghini for the Urus line, and Belen Rodiguez to launch the Hinnominate unisex clothing line created together with her brothers Cecilia and Jeremias, just to name a few. But quarries over the years have also fascinated filmmakers the world over, from the Lumiere brothers to Raffaello Matarrazzo’s ‘I figli di nessuno’ (Nobody’s Children), to the 007 movie ‘Quantum of Solace’ and the upcoming film ‘The Brutalist’, written and directed by Brady Corbet.
