Παρά το βαρύ πλήγμα της πανδημίας, η Βραζιλία κατάφερε να αυξήσει τις εξαγωγές μαρμάρων, γρανιτών και κεραμικών το εννεάμηνο 2021. Η βελτίωση της επιδημιολογικής κατάστασης και η αύξηση της ζήτησης από τις Η.Π.Α. επηρέασαν θετικά τις εξαγωγές της Βραζιλίας.
Συγκεκριμένα, οι εξαγωγές μαρμάρων και κεραμικών του εννιάμηνου 2021 είναι οι υψηλότερες της τελευταίας πενταετίας. Αντίθετα οι εξαγωγές γρανιτών συνέχισαν την πτωτική πορεία.
Στον πίνακα που ακολουθεί βλέπουμε τις μεταβολές (%) στην αξία εξαγωγών μαρμάρων, γρανιτών και κεραμικών της Βραζιλίας μεταξύ των εννιάμηνων 2020 – 2021 και μεταξύ των Α΄ – Β΄ – Γ΄ τριμήνων του 2021
Στον πίνακα παρατηρούμε ότι μεταξύ των εννιάμηνων 2020 – 2021 η άνοδος των εξαγωγών μαρμάρου και κεραμικών είναι πολύ ψηλότερη από των γρανιτών. Μεταξύ των τριμήνων οι εξαγωγές μαρμάρου είχαν υψηλότερο ρυθμό από των κεραμικών και των γρανιτών.
Στα μάρμαρα η άνοδος οφείλεται κυρίως στην αύξηση των εξαγωγών επεξεργασμένων μαρμάρων προς τις Η.Π.Α. Η χαμηλότερη άνοδος των εξαγωγών γρανιτών οφείλεται στην μικρή αύξηση των εξαγωγών επεξεργασμένων γρανιτών προς τις Η.Π.Α. και των ακατέργαστων προς την Κίνα. Στα κεραμικά κύρια αιτία της ανόδου των εξαγωγών είναι αύξηση των εξαγωγών προς τις Η.Π.Α. και τις γειτονικές χώρες της Λατινικής Αμερικής, Παραγουάη, Αργεντινή, Δομινικανή Δημοκρατία.
