In the first ten months of 2023, the value of Italian exports of machines, tools and other equipment for the processing of natural stone increased by 1.5% compared to the same period of the previous year.
If we consider the “top ten” of the main buyers of Italian machinery and equipment, our sales increased in Canada by 24.1% (2), in Turkey by 27.8% (3), in U.K. by 1.2% (9) and in Portugal by 5.4% (10), while they decreased, in the United States by -12.6% (1), in Germany by -9.9% (4), in India by -2.6% (5), in Poland by -10.6% (6), in Spain by -31.9% (7), and in France by -18.1% (8).
Out of the ranking of the top ten countries investing in Italian technology is Brazil, which in terms of investments in Italian machinery and equipment in this period has been overtaken by all the other countries just mentioned (Brazil -20.5%).
It’s important to remember that in the first 10 months of 2023, the Italian export of Italian machinery and equipment to the United States (1) was more than 3 times the exports to Canada (2) and about 3.1 times the exports to Turkey (3).
