Thousands of people visited the Metropolitan Expo, Athens, to learn about new materials and innovations in the building and construction industry.
This year’s BUILDING exhibition was held in three halls. Leading companies from the sectors of building materials, cement products, thermal insulation and waterproofing, sanitary ware, frames, paints, flooring-suspended ceilings, marble-granite, tools and machinery, as well as other sectors of the construction industry attended.
The flow of professional visitors on all three days was impressive, filling the stands to learn about the latest trends, the most modern and innovative products around the building and construction activity.
The high level of interest and response from professionals (architects/engineers, construction and building materials companies), the leading companies that participated, the targeted and specialised nature of the exhibition in the construction and building activity and its extroversion highlighted the expo as the most significant event in the construction sector.
Professionals and representatives of major construction companies from 21 countries visited the BUILDING exhibition during all three days as part of the Hosted Buyers Programme, where they established substantial partnerships with many participating companies.
The BUILDING exhibition proved to be the industry’s meeting point while enhancing the extroversion of the participating Greek companies.
