The Build EXPO 2022 exhibition, which will take place at the Metropolitan Expo from 14 to 16 October, Athens, will be a meeting point for all professionals in Greece and the wider region and emphasise the marble, granite and stone markets.
Build EXPO is a pioneer in upgrading the construction industry by presenting solutions for the future through a comprehensive range of products, materials, systems and services for construction, renovation, management and operation of buildings for private, professional or public use.
The exhibition, which is the only one in Greece specialising in the construction sector, will be a pole of attraction for architects, engineers, technical – design offices and decorators. In addition, it will gather a highly specialised audience of contractors, professionals and craftspeople and host buyers from at least 21 countries.
The exhibition will reaffirm its international character by expanding the successful Hosted Buyers Programme, which enables exhibitors to participate in B2B meetings between exhibitors and major construction companies from South-East Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean and other regions of high market importance.
Among the activities that will take place during the exhibition is the Architects talk. The successful conference on contemporary design and architecture will be held at the expo in collaboration with Archisearch.gr and Vassilis Bartzokas and is expected to attract hundreds of architects and architectural firms from all over Greece.
Finally, other events that will take place are the Architects’ Atelier and the Open Space. The Architects’ Atelier is a workshop for architects organised by the Hellenic Institute of Architecture. During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to discuss current issues concerning the sector. “Open Space”, on the other hand, is a three-day event consisting of workshops and case studies in which solutions, products and materials for existing and new buildings will be presented by renowned institutions and professionals.
