Profits of the running financial year will exceed €8 million in total
This year the company relies on its exporting trade to Southeast Asian countries, which have the largest sales volume than other geographical areas of the planet. At the same time, the company requires cash in most of the transactions concerning selling their products, which supports its financial restructuring.
At the first half of 2019, the company, that now belongs to the Pavlidis Marble and Granite group, had a turnover of €12.6 million versus €19.1 million in the corresponding period of 2018. Gross margin profit was 72.5% of turnover, compared to 69.2% in the same period last year.
However, due to lower turnover, in absolute terms the gross profit of the period stood at € 9.1 million versus € 13.2 million in the corresponding period of 2018. Profit after tax was € 7.0 million against € 10.8 million in the corresponding period of 2018.
