The conference “The Greek Marble” is an initiative of the Hellenic Institute of Architecture aiming to cover key topics and highlight the Greek marble.
Natural, timeless, and intertwined with the place of its extraction, marble surprises with the various scales to which it is applied and the way it transforms the character of the works in which it is placed.
Through conversations with distinguished guests from architecture, art and design fields, we will explore ways, methods and orientations as to the present and future of this material that comes from a long time ago. The conference will consist of the following sections:
