The shareholders of Iktinos Hellas SA were informed of the company’s investment course in 2018.
More specifically, the Chairman of the General Meeting, Mr. Haidas, informed the shareholders that in 2018, the company proceeded with investments of 29 million euros, which were about:
-The acquisition of a marble quarry in Northern Greece at the price of 7 million euros
-The purchase and modernization of a marble factory in Drama, at the price of 5 million euros, out of a total investment of 10 million euros
-The purchase of mechanical equipment for the quarries of the company, at hte price of 3 million euros
-The acquisition of the remaining 79,656% of Latirus Ltd by DolphinCi Thirteen Ltd, at the cost of 14 million euros, leading to the company holding now 100% of Latirus Ltd. after the acquisition.
Also, Mr. Haidas, informed the shareholders about the following:
A. Rental approval of a public marble quarry of 99,633.41 sq.m. in the position “Papagouva”, at the Municipality of Ermionida in the Perfecture of Arcadia in Peloponnese. The signing of the contract will take place next week. Work on the operation of the quarry is expected to begin immediately. It is marble of excellent quality and unique greyish color, sought after in foreign markets.
B. The turnover of Iktinos Hellas in the 11-month period of 2018 amounted to 50.5 million euro versus 43.5 million euro of the corresponding 2017 year-end, ie an increase of 16.2%.
