The Marble İzmir International Natural Stone and Technologies Fair returns for the 27th time in Fair İzmir that will take place from March 30 to April 2, 2022.
Marble İzmir Fair brings together the world of the natural stone industry for four days of networking and innovation. General Manager Canan Karaosmanoğlu Alıcı noted that “Fairs are extremely important and necessary organizations in terms of bringing all the actors of the sector together, introducing innovations, and making new commercial connections between participants and visitors. Thanks to marble fairs, it can be explained to the public why natural stone should be used instead of artificial surface coating alternatives such as ceramics and tiles, which have come to the forefront against natural stone recently.”
Among the visitors are expected to be natural stone processing machinery and technologies dealers and wholesalers, natural stone applicators, representatives of companies in the fields of construction and contracting, of project management and consultancy, of building inspection, of architecture offices, of construction markets, construction materials wholesalers, retailers and distributors, construction machinery dealers and wholesalers, mining, and natural stone companies.
To meet its standards and those of its visitors, Marble İzmir Fair has begun the preparations since the second half of February. At the same time, accounting for the previous years’ feedback, the Marble İzmir Fair will expand geographically with activities taking place at the fair and through representatives in the USA, the Middle East and Asia, and Europe and Russia.
The Advisory Board Meeting, which was held online, made the strategic planning of Marble İzmir Fair, organized by İZFAŞ and hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, for 2022. During the meeting, the board members evaluated all the inner workings essential to make 2022 the most efficient year regarding the fair and the sector.
The Marble İzmir Fair Advisory Board Meeting representatives have sent greeting messages to the fair participants and visitors. They also have expressed their pride over the fact that Marble İzmir Fair was able to continue along as planned, despite the pandemic’s restrictions, with the support of the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality.
