In cooperation with the Aegean Mineral Exporters’ Association, Marble İzmir will host buyer delegations from 17 countries, including the United States, Germany, Azerbaijan, Belgium, the United Kingdom, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Colombia, Egypt, Russia, Greece and Canada.

The program will enable exhibitors to hold one-to-one business meetings with international buyers, creating new partnership and trade opportunities. Ahead of the fair, participants will also be able to schedule meetings through the online B2B platform, allowing companies to connect with potential clients efficiently within a structured meeting calendar.

Strong international interest continues

Marble İzmir is preparing to welcome another high level of international participation in 2026. Last year, the fair hosted 188 foreign exhibitors from 27 countries and attracted 6,787 international visitors from 128 countries. This year, more than 200 international exhibiting companies are expected to take part.

Applications for the hosted buyer program have reached 105 professional buyers from 30 countries, while 1,114 industry professionals from 57 countries have already registered online to visit the fair. These figures underline Marble İzmir’s sustained global appeal and its role as a major commercial meeting platform for the natural stone industry.

Focus on strategic markets and project-driven buyers

As part of its year-round international promotion strategy, Marble İzmir continues to collaborate with commercial attachés, industry associations and exporters’ unions worldwide. The fair places particular emphasis on attracting architectural firms, project developers, construction companies and natural stone importers, who play a decisive role in large-scale projects.

Buyers from China and India, key markets in block natural stone trade, remain a core visitor group, while efforts continue to increase participation from European countries and the United States, which maintains strategic importance in processed natural stone exports.

Strategic cooperation with the Italian Marble Machinery Manufacturers’ Confederation

Marble İzmir is also strengthening its international partnerships through a new cooperation agreement with the Italian Marble Machinery Manufacturers’ Confederation, one of the leading organizations representing Italy’s natural stone and stone processing machinery sector.

The groundwork for the agreement was laid during the recent visit of the Confederation’s Honorary President Flavio Marabelli to İzmir, where he held meetings with İZFAŞ officials and industry representatives. The partnership is expected to enhance the presence of Italian companies at the fair, reinforce Marble İzmir’s position in the European market and create new business opportunities between Türkiye and Italy.

Marble İzmir aims to once again bring together the global natural stone community in İzmir in 2026, fostering new collaborations and further strengthening the international standing of the Turkish natural stone sector.
