The 26th edition of the China Xiamen International Stone Fair, held from March 16 to 19, 2026, once again confirmed its role as the most important global gathering for the natural stone and stone technology industry.
With the central theme “KEEP PASSION”, the fair brought together the international market, highlighting its dynamism and global influence.
Scale and International Presence
This year’s edition exceeded all expectations, covering a total exhibition area of 191,000 sq.m. and hosting over 2,000 companies from 40 countries and regions.
International participation was particularly strong, with around 300 exhibitors from key markets such as Italy, Turkey, Brazil, Greece, and Portugal, as well as from rapidly growing countries like India, Vietnam, and Cambodia. The increasing presence of Asian and global markets reinforced the fair’s worldwide profile.
On-Site Impressions
As Stonenews observed, the on-site experience demonstrated the fair’s vitality: attendance was very high, with long queues at the exhibition entrances — a clear indication of the event’s energy.
At the same time, the organization was at a very high level. Attention to detail and the overall management of the visitor experience showed that the organizers systematically invest in facilitating both exhibitors and visitors.
Design, Innovation, and Trends
The 2026 edition placed special emphasis on design, innovation, and industry trends.
Halls A7 and A8 hosted impressive design installations, where architects, designers, and companies collaborated to create complete applications and spatial concepts. The Xiamen Habitat Design & Life Festival and the Stone Infinite Product Design Show highlighted the modern dimension of natural stone as a material closely connected to architecture and aesthetic experience.
The 5th Natural Stone Varieties Collection showcased over 400 samples of natural stone — from marble and granite to quartzite and limestone — reflecting the leading trends for 2026.
Additionally, the “Launch Out @XSF” platform allowed 43 exhibitors to present 59 new products and technologies, while the WSC Educational Sessions brought together key industry representatives focusing on the future of the sector.
Strengthening the Chinese Presence
A clear takeaway from this year’s edition is the remarkable progress of Chinese exhibitors.
Advances were visible not only in material quality but also in presentation, branding, and technology use. Chinese companies are evolving into well-rounded, highly competitive players on the international market.
Global Attendance and Commercial Dynamics
The fair recorded over 154,000 visits from 122 countries and regions, with strong participation from India, Russia, South Korea, Australia, Southeast Asia, and Brazil.
What stood out was not only the volume of visitors but also the quality of contacts, with active commercial engagement, deals, and new partnerships emerging throughout the event.
Conclusions
Despite the challenging global natural stone market, the China Xiamen International Stone Fair maintained a high level of satisfaction for both exhibitors and visitors, confirming its significance for the international industry.
The fair is not just a large exhibition, it is a critical hub for trend-setting, partnership development, and understanding market directions.
Stonenews believes that this edition highlights a deeper reality: the market is becoming more demanding and competitive — and those who invest in quality, design, and added value will stand out in the years to come.
