Greek firm “314 architecture studio” recently completed “H303”, a residential project located at the south suburbs of Athens. The site, 800m far from the sea, is located in Kadmou str. of Glyfada area, a seaside town that has seen continuous growth over the years. The building was designed referencing the geometrical shapes and volumes of nature, which are translated as petals in the exterior of each floor, giving an organic shape to the building.

314 architecture studio’ s organic design refers to a philosophy that combines the harmonious co-habitation of man with nature. This philosophy is reinterpreted as a design that is both aesthetic and functional. The designers use the approach that combines design techniques that come in harmony with the site so that the volumes of the building, the furniture and the atmospheres are all coherent. In the perimeter of the pilotis, they added u-glass, which protects the interiors and at the same time offers sneak peeks to guests outside wanting to enter the house.

The building is mostly finished in white Calacatta marble, giving it an elegant and sophisticated look. The material highlights the thin floor slabs, adding to the illusion of a building. Another key material of the project are the mirrors that cover the columns. This makes the interior spaces become more open and reflect the apartment’ s exterior views.
