The book Splendor of Marble: Marvelous Spaces by the World’s Top Architects and Designers, Rizzoli, New York, 2020 describes the uniqueness of natural stones and illustrates their multiple applications in the field of interior design.
Written by Karen Pearse – internationally recognized expert in marble and natural stones and founder of Karen Pearse Global Direct – with a foreword by Massimo Ferragamo, president of Ferragamo USA, the book offers a comprehensive overview of the varieties of marble and natural stones and explores the design possibilities in domestic environments. In the 256 pages of the book that follows, there are realizations of bathrooms, kitchens, outdoor spaces, corridors, stairs, and living rooms to demonstrate the variety of uses, colors, and patterns of this extraordinary natural material.
