In the first three months of 2023, the value of Italian exports of machines, tools and other equipment for natural stone processing increased by 7.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Considering the “top ten” of the leading buyers of Italian machinery and equipment, Italian sales increased in the United States by 11.3% (1), in Germany by 22.6% (2), in Canada by 24.2% (3), in the U.K. 31% (4), in Poland 12.1% (5), in Turkey 72.7% (8), while they decreased in France by -33.1% (6), in India -36.7% (7), in Spain by -12.8% (9) and in Brazil -56.7% (10).
Out of the ranking of the top ten countries investing in Italian technology is Portugal, which in terms of investments in Italian machinery and equipment in this period, has been overtaken by Morocco and Belgium.
It is important to remember that in the first three months of 2023, the exports of Italian machinery and equipment to the United States (1) were more than 2.7 times the exports to Germany (2) and about 2.8 times the exports to Canada (3).
