The International Surface Event (TISE) is once again, in 2025, the leading trade platform for the stone industry in the United States—a market that continues to represent the top destination for Italian exports of natural stone products and extraction and processing technologies. The event, which includes the well-established STONEXPO showcase, brings together the most qualified professionals in the sector and serves as a key meeting point for companies, buyers, and North American decision makers.

According to data from the Centro Studi Confindustria Marmomacchine, in the first seven months of 2025 the U.S. market imported over 63 million euros’ worth of Italian technologies for stone extraction and processing, reaffirming its strong interest in the innovation and know-how of Italian manufacturers. Equally significant results were recorded in the export of finished and semi-finished natural stone products, which reached 325 million euros between January and July 2025—an increase of 6.2% compared to the same period in 2024.

Overall, Italian stone-industry exports to the United States approached 400 million euros in the first seven months of 2025, highlighting once again the strategic importance of the North American market for the sector.

Within this context, STONEXPO remains a key event: a venue where annual budgets for North American companies are defined and where highly qualified buyers, distributors, and key industry decision makers come together. The exhibition also features extensive networking opportunities, professional updates, and training sessions tailored to the needs of stakeholders across the stone supply chain.

Participation in a collective Italian pavilion ensures companies a coordinated and recognizable image, a strategic positioning within the show, and comprehensive organizational and promotional support from ICE Agency and Confindustria Marmomacchine. This joint presence strengthens the visibility of Italian excellence and enhances business opportunities in the U.S. market.
