1,182 billion dollars of exports for the natural stone sector in the first 8 months of 2024. United States, China and Saudi Arabia among the main destination markets.
Processed Marble decreased by -3.84% in quantity and -0.36% in value, the export of Blocks showed moderate growth both in quantity and value while Processed Travertine recorded a decrease in quantity but an increase in value at global level.
In terms of destination areas, Turkish natural stone exports achieved the following results: Asian Countries (-8.06%), North America (+9.46%), Europe: (+14.93%), North Africa: (-8%) and Central/Eastern/South Africa (+27.20%).
