In the first four months of 2023, the value of Italian exports of machines, tools and other equipment for natural stone processing increased by 4.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.
If we consider the “top ten” of the leading buyers of Italian machinery and equipment, our sales decreased in the United States by 0.7% (1), in France by 33.3% (4), in Poland by 2.5% (6), in Spain 22.6% (7), in India 30.6% (8), while they increased in Germany by 20.6% (2), in Canada 28.5% (3), in U.K. by 7.5% (5) in Turkey 36.1% (9) and in Portugal 22.2% (10).
Out of the ranking of the top ten countries investing in Italian technology is Brazil, which, in terms of investments in Italian machinery and equipment in this period, has been overtaken by all the other countries just mentioned.
It is important to remember that in the first three months of 2023, the Italian export of Italian machinery and equipment to the United States (1) was more than three times the exports to Germany (2) and always more than three times the exports to Canada too (3).
