Volvo CE also emphasized that all zero-emission models on display are available in versions with conventional diesel engines, providing flexibility for customers.

In addition to the new products, the company introduced a series of groundbreaking support services aimed at enhancing customer productivity, efficiency, and sustainability.

Representing a milestone in sustainable innovation, Volvo CE’s presence at Bauma raises the bar, showcasing its first-ever range of machines consisting exclusively of zero-emission equipment at the Munich exhibition from April 7 to 13.

Melker Jernberg, President of Volvo CE, stated:

“This zero-emission range is a clear sign of our commitment to drive change. Alongside pioneering services, solutions, and our updated portfolio of conventional diesel machines, we are showing that we stand by our customers, supporting them every step of the way.”

Introducing the World’s First Electric Articulated Hauler in its Size Class

The highlight of the fully electric lineup is the groundbreaking debut of the A30 Electric — an articulated hauler never seen before. It represents Volvo CE’s first solution in its class and the world’s first battery-powered product of its size category. It will be available to customers in selected European markets in 2026, ensuring that quarrying, mining, and construction sectors can now combine high productivity with more sustainable operations.

Supporting Customers with Flexible Solutions

Volvo CE also demonstrated that conventional diesel engine options are available for all the zero-emission models presented, offering top-tier fuel efficiency improvements of up to 15%, along with outstanding productivity. This multi-tech approach ensures that Volvo CE delivers flexible solutions to meet a wide range of customer needs.

Highlighting strong collaboration as part of its complete solutions offering, the Bauma presentation will also feature innovative solutions from Volvo Trucks, Volvo Penta, and Volvo Financial Services.

Transforming Operations with Cutting-Edge Services

To complement the zero-emission lineup, Volvo CE is also unveiling a suite of innovative new service solutions. These include an upgrade to Volvo CE’s digital tools, a new Load Ticket tool for invoice clearance, and two new services:

  • Site Operations – for mixed-fleet monitoring regardless of brand.

  • Site Optimization – a customer consultancy service designed to unlock new levels of efficiency.

These new services will be available for hands-on experience at Volvo CE’s interactive Solutions Bar at Bauma, a platform where customers can meet experts across multiple areas and discover tailored Volvo solutions that meet their specific needs.
