The versatility and global appeal of Brazilian natural stones took center stage on the opening day of the Xiamen Stone Fair 2026, one of the world’s most prominent exhibitions for the stone and design industry.
At the Brazilian Pavilion, a featured presentation led by Igor Coelho Machado highlighted the remarkable geological diversity of Brazil. Showcasing more than 1,200 varieties of natural stone, Machado emphasized how the country’s rich palette of colors, textures, and geological formations continues to inspire innovative solutions in architecture and design projects across the globe.
Drawing on over a decade of experience in the sector, Machado provided valuable insights into the growing international demand for Brazilian materials. His work has played a key role in expanding the presence of these stones in strategic markets such as the United States and China—two regions where demand for high-quality, distinctive natural materials continues to rise. Currently a member of the Magban team, he underscored how Brazilian producers are increasingly aligning creativity with global market needs.
The Brazilian Pavilion program was organized by It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone, with promotion support from Centrorochas and ApexBrasil. Together, these institutions continue to strengthen Brazil’s position as a leading exporter of natural stones, fostering international partnerships and promoting the country’s unique geological heritage.
As the fair continues, Brazil’s presence signals not only the strength of its natural resources but also its growing influence in shaping global design trends through innovation, sustainability, and material diversity.
