With an exceptional turnout from both corporate leaders and government officials, Confindustria Marmomacchine held its 2026 General Assembly on June 26. The annual convention once again proved to be a pivotal forum for assessment and strategic planning, not only for the association but for the entire national stone and techno-stone supply chain.
In addition to a large turnout of member companies, the assembly featured a high-profile lineup of speakers. The day’s proceedings commenced with a video message from the Minister of Enterprises and that of Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, who extended his greetings to the association for its annual convention.
Navigating Global Disorder
A central highlight of the event was the lively panel discussion titled “Competitiveness and Internationalization: Which Coordinates in the Geography of Disorder?” The debate addressed the complex global landscape and featured key industry figures:

The assembly opened with the official President’s Report delivered by Gianluca Pellegrino, followed by an in-depth Technical-Economic Presentation by Flavio Marabelli, Honorary President with Responsibility for Institutional Relations. The event also featured a well-received address by Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Paolo Borchia.
New Governance and Leadership Team Elected (2026–2028)
Beyond industry analysis, the 2026 General Assembly marked a critical milestone for the association’s leadership. Elections were held for the 2026/2028 Confindustria Marmomacchine Presidential Team.
Gianluca Pellegrino was officially confirmed as President for a second two-year term.
