Following our previous report on Germany’s finished marble and granite products imports growth in the first quarter of 2020, Stonenews.eu is presenting the country’s finished marble and granite products imports growth in the first four months of 2020, compared with last year’s same period of time as well as the last four months of 2019, examining the value and the quantity of imports.
The trend line of Germany’s finished marble and granite import value moved further downwards in the first four months of the year. Quantity of imports showed negative growth in both cases as well, although finished marble imports had a smaller decline. Marble, on the other hand, suffered generally larger losses than granite.
The picture becomes brighter when the comparison is made with the last four months of 2019, as both finished marble and granite quantity of imports had a small but still positive growth, combined with the smaller drop in import value.
