HELLENIC MARBLES GROUP is the organization that has been formed to unify the production and management of Mr Ioannis Birros quarries and marble processing factories. Mr Ioannis Birros has a constant and dynamic presence in marble industry for more than three decades now, and the years passed, his company mastered the marble craftsmanship and quarrying, reaching an annual production of 200.000 tons of all the quarries combined.
“Pirgon” quarry, is one of the largest and most successful white marble quarries in the world, with annual production capacity of up to 140.000 tons in marble blocks.
Along with “Pirgon” quarry, HELLENIC MARBLES GROUP also owns another two white marble quarries; “Hermes” in the area of Volakas and “Danae” in the area of Granitis. Apart from white marble quarries, the company also owns a grey marble quarry named “Ares”. All these quarries are located in the area of Mr. Birros Ioannis birthplace, Drama.
With a wide range of more than 20 types of natural stone, Hellenic Marbles Group can satisfy even the most special requests and demands, as they know that the marble market is dynamic and always changing.
