In the first ten months of 2022, the value of Italian exports of machines, tools and other equipment for processing natural stone was not as good as for natural stones. On the contrary, it decreased by 2.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.
If we consider the “top ten” of the main buyers of Italian machinery and equipment, our sales increased in the United States by 38.8% (1), in Germany by 14% (3), in France by 27.6% (4), in India by over 61.5% (5), in Canada by 19.2% (7), in Turkey 39.5% (8), while they decreased, in Spain by 12.7% (2), in Poland -6.8% (6) in U.K. -27.2% (9) and in Portugal -24.2% (10).
The ranking of the top ten countries investing in Italian technology does not include Brazil, which, in terms of investment in Italian machinery and equipment in this period, was slightly overtaken by Portugal. It’s important to remember that in the first ten months of 2022, the Italian export of Italian machinery and equipment to the United States (1) was more than three times the exports to Spain (2) and about 3.2 times the exports to Germany (3).
