Komatsu Presents 13 New Machines at Bauma

Among the 13 new models to be unveiled is the brand-new PC220LCi-12 excavator. Drawing on Komatsu’s decade-long experience and millions of operating hours in integrated machine control technology, this excavator introduces entirely unique iMC 3.0 features. In addition to setting new standards for productivity and efficiency, the machine boasts a newly designed cabin focusing on maximizing operator comfort, while seamless connectivity solutions further simplify the digital transformation of the job site. Komatsu invites all visitors to explore its innovative features through a live demonstration in the outdoor area.

Another highlight is the introduction of the new Dash 11 WA475-11 and WA485-11 wheel loaders, developed by Komatsu Ltd. and manufactured at Komatsu Germany GmbH – Construction Division (Hanover). These two new models deliver unmatched power and fuel efficiency, powered by a high-torque engine with an HMT transmission. The wheel loader also benefits from significantly increased payload capacity and bucket volume, meeting EU Stage V emission standards with a long-life diesel particulate filter. Komatsu invites visitors to experience the spacious and ergonomic cabin, equipped with adjustable controls and an air-suspension seat.

Focusing on larger wheel loaders, visitors will also have the opportunity to witness, for the first time in a decade of development, the redesigned WA700-8. It will be showcased in action alongside its perfect counterpart, the 60-ton rigid dump truck HD605-10, in a dynamic live demonstration. Komatsu promises that this powerful machine will impress every operator with its comfortable cabin, unparalleled safety levels, unmatched power and stability, significant payload capacity, and bucket volume, as well as its outstanding environmental credentials.

Komatsu highly recommends that every visitor set aside time during their Bauma visit to see the electrically powered PC7000-11E hydraulic mining excavator in a backhoe configuration, which will be on live display. With over 40 years of pioneering innovation in electric hydraulic mining excavators, Komatsu Germany GmbH – Mining Division (Düsseldorf) proudly presents this electric excavator, combining the powerful digging force of high-performance diesel-powered machines with the lower carbon footprint of an electric machine. Built to withstand the toughest mining operations, the PC7000-11E represents outstanding durability, reliability, and performance.

Komatsu’s mining experts will be present at the outdoor booth FM713/1, where they will showcase their technology and how it helps the mining industry achieve emissions reduction goals while maintaining operational efficiency.

Shifting from mining to urban environments, Komatsu is pleased to introduce a new 4-ton skid steer loader and a 5-ton compact track loader. Both machines offer one of the highest operating capacities in their class, combined with superior lifting power, digging force, and tractive effort, meeting the evolving needs of customers.

Additionally, Komatsu will present a 7.5-ton mid-size excavator with a reduced swing radius, bridging the gap below mid-size wheeled excavators. This compact machine provides easy and precise operation with any attachment, excellent on-road behavior, and an extremely compact size, ideal for urban environments.

All three machines are designed and manufactured at Komatsu Italia Manufacturing S.p.A.
