The Board of Directors of Franchi Umberto Marmi S.p.A., an Italian processor and trader of Carrara marble, has approved the financial report for the six months ended June 30, 2026.
According to the financial report, prepared in accordance with IFRS accounting standards, total revenues and other income stood at €37.4 million, compared to €39.5 million in the first half of 2025. This decrease was mainly driven by disruptions to the supply chain and logistics route to the Gulf countries, stemming from geopolitical tensions between the United States and Iran.
However, management highlighted that after a weak first quarter (Q1), performance accelerated significantly in the second quarter (Q2), with total revenues exceeding €20 million and outperforming the same period of the previous year.
