The second centenary of the death of Antonio Canova sees Marmomac pay homage to the great neo-classical sculptor in its campaign promoting the fifty-sixth event scheduled at Veronafiere 27-30 September.
The Bust of Peace is the “testimonial” of the communication campaign for the 56th trade fair
The Bust of Peace – a sculpture belonging to the series of Ideal Heads sculpted by Canova by way of thanking his friends and patrons – will welcome and represent the 2022 edition of Marmomac, the world’s most important event for natural stone, technologies, tools, applied design and services.
Marmomac – continuing the 2021 theme combining the physical nature of man and sculpture in stone to celebrate the return to attendance in person and the resilience of the community in overcoming the stop caused by the pandemic – has decided this year to promote material and human ingenuity, with the head representing the forge of art and innovation. And what better metaphor to symbolize the technique and human creativity of this work that demonstrates all Canova’s incredible skill in working with marble.
Lastly, the new claim is “Be the Plus”: a tribute to doing and doing better which, following “Welcome Back” in 2021, invites natural stone sector professionals to meet again in Verona for the event that symbolizes a lively and pulsating community, a top exhibition that has held firmly on to its international relationships and vocation, a well-defined position equally open to new challenges.
