Confindustria Marmomacchine, representing the Italian marble and stone technology supply chain, announced it has distributed to its associated companies the official documents issued by the European Commission regarding the newly imposed 15% tariffs applied by the United States on the majority of imports from the European Union.
The documents, which include a series of Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A), are described by the association as a valuable “guidance tool” for businesses facing the complex challenges of the new trade measures.
At the same time, Confindustria Marmomacchine has taken part in recent meetings of the Tariffs Task Force established by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The association continues to monitor the issue closely, both at national and international levels, with the aim of activating all possible synergies to help reduce the impact of the new trade barriers on Italian exporters.
