The figures provide a final picture of the international reach of the event and highlight the continued importance of Verona as a meeting point for companies operating across the global natural stone industry.

A broad international presence

Professionals from 132 countries attended the 60th edition, while exhibitors represented 54 nations, bringing together companies and buyers from across the international stone sector.

The 63% share of international visitors underlines the global character of the event. Within this broader picture, the increase in attendance from Türkiye and India stands out, highlighting stronger participation from two markets with an established presence in the international natural stone industry.

For exhibitors, this international audience creates opportunities to strengthen existing commercial relationships while developing new contacts across different markets.

Business at the centre of the exhibition

Business activity was a central feature of the 2026 edition, with more than 3,200 B2B meetings scheduled during the four-day event, according to Marmomac.

The meetings connected 450 hosted buyers from 58 countries with companies across the industry, creating opportunities for direct commercial discussions and new business contacts.

The programme was developed in cooperation with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and Confindustria Marmomacchine, connecting exhibitors with international buyers through a dedicated business-matching programme.

According to Marmomac, the buyers came both from markets already important to the international stone trade and from markets offering new business opportunities.

The scale of the programme highlights the emphasis placed on business development and international networking alongside the exhibition itself.

Natural stone, technology and design

Natural stone remained at the heart of Marmomac, alongside the technologies, chemicals and tools associated with extraction, processing and finishing.

Architecture and design were also part of the four-day programme, bringing together different professional communities connected to the broader stone value chain.

The combination of materials, technology, architecture and design reflects the wide range of activities and expertise represented at Marmomac and the different ways in which natural stone connects with the wider construction and design sectors.

A four-day international platform

The final figures from the 60th edition place its international and commercial dimension in clear perspective: 50,000 professionals from 132 countries, more than 1,300 exhibitors from 54 nations, 63% international visitors and more than 3,200 scheduled B2B meetings.

The growth in participation from Türkiye and India, together with the presence of 450 hosted buyers from 58 countries, provides further evidence of the international business activity developed during the exhibition.

For the global natural stone industry, Marmomac 2026 brought together materials, technologies, buyers and professionals in an environment focused on business contacts, market opportunities and the exchange of ideas.

The next edition of Marmomac will take place in Verona from 21 to 24 September 2027.
