NODOSAFER, with over 40 years of experience manufacturing machinery for the stone industry, continues to expand its product family with the development of new cutting lines tailored to customer needs, a wide range of robots for all types of work tailored to market demands, and multi-wire machines, improving their productivity and performance every year. It continues its global expansion and its presence is increasingly significant in countries such as, of course, Spain and Portugal, but also France, Poland, Turkey, Brazil, Angola, China, and now, recently, making a significant entrance into Ukraine. There are now over 140 multi-wire units, over 30 complete cutting lines, and over 40 robots operating in the market.
On this occasion, we would like to once again thank PEIXOTO NATURAL STONES, a company from Alpendorada (Portugal), for their trust. The company led by brothers António and Rui Peixoto had started its relationship with Nodosafer 8 years ago with the purchase of a N6510/15 multi-wire machine of 15 wires, later in 2021 it installed a 20-wires N6520.20/1400 multi-wire machine and, this year 2025, it has once again trusted NODOSAFER and has undertaken a very interesting project with the purchase of a 51-wires N6870/51 multi-wire machine complemented by a complete 5-head N8000/900 thickness line complete with a robot with a linear palletizing track and a flamer. This project, launched this summer, represents an exponential increase in PEIXOTO NATURAL STONES production, demonstrating its loyalty to NODOSAFER.
We spoke with RUI PEIXOTO, one of the owners and manager of the PEIXOTO NATURAL STONES factory:
- What is PEIXOTO NATURAL STONES’s objective with the investment in the aforementioned equipment?
Respond to our customers’ demands within the set deadlines and increase production capacity.
- What is the fundamental reason for commissioning NODOSAFER with a project of this magnitude?
In addition to offering machines adapted to our needs, it is a company at the forefront of innovation in our sector.
- It is currently being confirmed worldwide that there is increasingly less qualified labour for work of this type. In your opinion, what role does NODOSAFER play in factory automation today?
In my opinion, Nodosafer is more than just a provider. I consider him a business partner who shares his industry expertise with us to automate and optimize our factory.
- What are your market prospects for 2026?
In addition to consolidating our presence in current markets, we plan to further diversify our global presence.
