One of the world’s largest trade fairs in the natural stone sector and the gateway of Turkish natural stone to global markets, Marble İzmir – International Natural Stone and Technologies Fair will open its doors for the 31st time at Fuarİzmir on April 14–17, 2026. Hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and organized by İZFAŞ, Marble İzmir will once again bring together industry professionals from around the world.

Having grown into a strong global brand over the years, Marble İzmir remains one of the most important meeting points for both Türkiye and the global natural stone industry. With its wide exhibitor profile, diverse visitors, and large-scale exhibition area, the fair aims to further strengthen international collaboration in 2026.

Partnership with Confindustria Marmomacchine

After welcoming over a thousand exhibitors and tens of thousands of visitors from more than 100 countries last year — including participants from Italy, the USA, France, Germany, China, South Korea, India, and the UAE — Marble İzmir is set to establish an important new cooperation in 2026.

Through an agreement with Confindustria Marmomacchine, the Italian Association representing producers and processors of marble, granite, and natural stone, as well as manufacturers of machinery, plants, and tools for quarrying and processing, Marble İzmir aims to boost its international reach.

As part of this collaboration, Flavio Marabelli, Honorary President of Confindustria Marmomacchine, visited İzmir recently. During his visit, Marabelli met with İZFAŞ General Manager Tuğçe Cumalıoğlu, İZFAŞ executives, and Hanifi Şimşek, Chairman of TÜMMER, together with Vice Chairman Mehmet Serter. The meetings concluded with the signing of the cooperation agreement.

Contacts initiated during the 30th Marble İzmir Fair paved the way for this agreement. The collaboration aims to increase Italian company participation, strengthen the fair’s position in the European market, and further develop Türkiye-Italy cooperation in the natural stone and machinery sectors. By combining Türkiye’s strong production infrastructure with Italy’s technological expertise, the partnership is expected to generate new business opportunities for companies in both countries.

Buyer Delegations, B2B Meetings and Design Competition

In 2026, international buyer delegations will visit İzmir once again. B2B meetings during the fair will provide companies with opportunities to enter new markets and expand exports. The fair will also host the 8th International Novel Natural Stone Design Competition, introducing young designers to the sector and bringing fresh, innovative ideas to natural stone.

“Carrying the Global Strength of the Sector from İzmir to the World”

Emphasizing the fair’s international role, İZFAŞ General Manager Tuğçe Cumalıoğlu stated:

“With more than 30 years of history, Marble İzmir brings together producers, exporters, technology developers, architects, and designers on a single platform. Our fair belongs not just to Türkiye, but to the entire sector. This year’s partnership with Confindustria Marmomacchine will further strengthen international collaboration. B2B meetings with participants, professional visitors, and buyer delegations from Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Africa will create new trade opportunities. Beyond business, Marble İzmir continues to be a hub for innovation, sustainability, and design. In our 31st edition, we will keep carrying the global strength of the sector from İzmir to the world.”
