The results of the first four months of this year for Italian exports of raw natural stones increased compared to the same period of the previous year. In fact, in the first 4 months of 2024, Italian exports of “raw materials” increased by 14.9% in value compared to the same period in 2023.
China remains the first buyer with an incredible increase in imports of Italian natural stones of 31%, while India, in second place, decreases its imports from Italy by over 15.3%.
The United States is in third place in the import of raw natural stones from Italy (+75%), ahead of Germany (-11.4%), Saudi Arabia (+23.2%), France (+20.2%), Egypt (-43.3%), United Arab Emirates (+89.3%), Spain (+148.6%) and Indonesia (+154.3%).
Note that during this period, China imported about 46.2% of all exports of Italian raw materials.
