Brazil is set to welcome an international delegation of 26 visitors, including buyers, architects, designers, and journalists, who will participate in the Marmomac Brazil event in São Paulo. As part of the program, they will also embark on a two-day technical visit to Espírito Santo to gain firsthand insight into the country’s natural stone production sector. This initiative further solidifies Brazil’s standing as a global leader in geodiversity and stone processing.
The program is being organized by the Brazilian Center for Natural Stones (Centrorochas) in collaboration with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). It aims to provide visitors with an immersive experience covering all stages of the industry’s production chain.
A Two-Part Industry Immersion
The visitors’ itinerary is divided into two key phases. The first phase in Espírito Santo includes visits to quarries, industries, and showrooms, where they will witness the complete stone production process, from extraction to final product presentation. The second phase will take place in São Paulo at Marmomac Brazil, where international buyers will engage in the Business Roundtable, directly connecting with companies participating in the sectoral project.
The international delegation consists of 15 buyers from countries such as Lebanon, Romania, Canada, the United States, Australia, Taiwan, and Poland. Among them, seven have been invited by the sectoral project and eight through a partnership between Centrorochas and Marmomac Brazil.
Additionally, the delegation includes seven designers and architects from the United States and Turkey, as well as four journalists from Italy, the United States, Germany, and Greece. Two of these journalists were invited by the sectoral project, while the other two were included through the Centrorochas and Marmomac Brazil partnership.
