Following our previous report on the US finished marble and granite products imports growth in the first quarter of 2020, Stonenews.eu is presenting the country’s finished marble and granite products imports growth in the first four months of 2020, compared with last year’s same period of time as well as the last four months of 2019, examining the value, the quantity and the unit value of imports.
As in the first quarter of 2020, the trend line of the US finished marble and granite imports moved further downwards in the first four months of the year both in value and quantity of imports as well as in unit value. Granite suffered marginally larger losses than marble, with the exception of unit value, which decreased only by -0,14%.
The same picture emerges when the comparison is made with the last four months of 2019, with the exception of import unit value again, which in this case increased marginally.
