In the segment of machines, tools, abrasives, and equipment for stone processing, Saudi Arabia consistently ranks among the top fifteen buyers of Italian technologies. In 2024, imports from Italy exceeded €23 million—an impressive 92.6% increase compared to the previous year.
Saudi Arabia also maintains a strong presence in the global top ten for imports of stone blocks and slabs, with over €4.4 million sourced from Italy. Additionally, imports of high-end finished and semi-finished stone products reached €30 million, reinforcing Italy’s role as a global benchmark in quality, design, and craftsmanship.
During the first half of 2025, Italian exports to the Saudi market—encompassing raw and processed materials as well as extraction and processing technologies—surpassed €40 million, underlining the depth and vitality of bilateral trade in the sector.
