Stonenews.eu, after studying the statistic reports of the International Trade Centre and the National Statistical Institutes, is presenting the Finished Natural Stone Products that Germany imported most in 2017 according to their HS Codes.
From 2001 to 2017 Germany has shown several positive and negative fluctuations in Finished Natural Stone Products imports. During the last years, the country decreased their imports, however in 2017, there was a small increase in quantity, in comparison to 2016, while the value remained almost the same as in 2016.
The Finished Granite Products (HS Code 680293) are those that stand out among the Finished Natural Stone Products that Germany imported in 2017.
In the table below, we can see Germany’s Finished Natural Stone Products imports in brief, according to their HS Code, focusing on the value, quantity and price per tonne between 2016 and 2017 as well as the shares in value and quantity out of the 2017 total imports.
As shown at the table, Germany imported in higher price per tonne in 2017 than in 2016, and more specifically by +7,37% under HS Code 680210, by +4,83% under code 680229, by +2% under code 680299 and by +0,57% under code 680300. On the contrary, imports with lower price per tonne were under HS Code 680292 by -18,57%, under code 680223 by -18,53%, under code 680291 by -10,06%, under code 680221 by -4,35% and under code 680293 by -2,3%.
