The Big 5 Saudi 2023: The event’s success was considerable

Following its successful 11th edition with more than 44,542 attendees, the Big 5 Construct Saudi, the kingdom’s leading construction event, attracting hundreds of participants and exhibitors and thousands of visitors, is confirmed to return from 26 to 29 February 2024.

The 2023 edition brought together over 820 local and international exhibitors from 40 countries, where they presented the latest products and services, and innovations that add value to the construction value chain. The event’s success was considerable, as deals amounting to $560.6 million were signed, anticipating $1.12 billion worth of future sales.

With its largest international presence to-date, the four-day show had 12 dedicated country pavilions demonstrating distinctive construction solutions from Austria, China, Egypt, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Kuwait, Poland, Qatar, Spain, and Turkey.

Big 5 Construct Saudi 2024: Project pipeline worth $1.6tn

Next year’s edition will highlight product sectorisation and focus on new industries, showcasing the latest advancements in materials and applications in select sectors such as steel fabrication and concrete, as well as provide insights into green practices and sustainable methodologies for urban design and landscape sectors.

Technology will also have a prominent role, due to its contribution to the construction industry’s advancement, as the 2024 event plans to demonstrate the latest innovations in AI, automation, and digital construction solutions; featuring a holistic design-completion exhibition experience that covers the lifetime of the construction industry. Next year’s visitors will similarly find the return of the free-to-attend CPD-certified Industry Talks series with the addition of specialised co-located events that include HVAC R Expo, Stone & Surface Saudi Arabia, and FM Expo Saudi Arabia.
